We are continuously amazed by the support and gene We are continuously amazed by the support and generosity of the Project Kindy Community.

This year, we raised $29K at Village Night Out and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the contributions from our sponsors, supporters and donors.

We would like to give a special thank you to Joanna and the incredible team at Ingauge for sponsoring the evening and for being such a special part of what we do at Project Kindy.

Thank you to Sustain Uniforms for sponsoring our dance floor on the night and to SLIP for donating to our fundraising goal, providing gifts and contributing to the raffle💙

The raffle on the night raised over $5K! Thank you to Anita who donated a Body Shop voucher and to everyone who contributed to our raffle fundraising efforts - you are all beyond amazing!

We would also like to thank Queensland Symphony Orchestra for donating prizes as well as the Transcontinental Hotel for putting on a wonderful evening and donating a beautiful hamper.

100% of funds raised are now giving children in Malawi the opportunity to learn and play, but also a supportive community environment where they can experience a sense of hope 🙏

Thank you and we can’t wait to see everyone back at Village Night Out next year!
We need your help this end of financial year 💙 We need your help this end of financial year 💙

Project Kindy is hoping to raise $15K before the 30th June to provide children in Malawi with the opportunity to attend kindergarten where they can learn basic literacy and numeracy skills, as well as social skills that will set them up for success in primary school, secondary school and beyond.

With one money to go until tax time, now is the time to show your support and make an impact that will mean the world to families living in Malawi.

Instead of spending their days alone, kindergarten provides an opportunity for these young children to play games, form friendships, laugh and learn new things in a safe place with caring teachers.

Project Kindy supports 11 kindergartens with 725 c Project Kindy supports 11 kindergartens with 725 children attending kindy every day.

We are grateful to have 59 staff members and volunteers involved to support these children in having a safe and caring environment to nurture their learning and development.

Our partners on the ground there are the Canossian Daughters of Charity who give us excellent reports on how our funds are spent for the good of the children. They are witnessing first-hand how the funds raised by Australians are providing better opportunities for a happy and healthy future.

Here are some of the friendly faces who make it all possible in Malawi 💙
Our Project Kindy Village Night Out, sponsored by Our Project Kindy Village Night Out, sponsored by INGAUGE, was a huge success due to the efforts, generosity and enthusiasm of many! The Sisters in Malawi are blown away and they were in contact with me and praying for us during the event, which was so beautiful.

Just like every other part of this charity's journey, this milestone has come after many smaller ones leading up to it. Our fundraisers started back in 2011 with an email to family and friends, then home-based dinners and music nights. Then we expanded to trivia nights and enjoyed our small cocktail night celebrating the start of our registration as an official charity in October 2016. We first started dinner functions at Cloudland in 2017 after I'd been to Malawi. We came to see that we needed a venue that was warm and professional, but more affordable so we can maximise the fundraising outcomes of the event and so we tried a smaller venue in West End in 2021.

Finally, after over a decade of creating, searching, reflecting and building our network, we feel that we nailed it this time! The most we'd raised previously was $21 000 at the Girls Night Out, as it was the first one where we could offer tax-deductibility. That was more than double our record at Cloudland. This weekend's fundraising outcome of $29 000 is incredible and has exceeded our expectations and this result is due to the contributions of our incredible sponsors, guests and volunteers and the support of a very professional venue.

Thank YOU for supporting us on this adventure. Look how far we've come, learning bit by bit as we go.

We look forward to making this an annual (ideally, or at least every 2 years) fundraising event for our Village. It was clear that our wonderful guests truly enjoyed the night in a spirit of respect, joy and hope. You could hear the buzz of enthusiasm and friendship in the room and you could see the 10/10 intensity of the dance moves on the dancefloor! We noticed the incredible generosity of people on the night regarding the raffle ticket sales.

Our event sponsors, Ingauge, had a table of 14 people there and Joanna Groves spoke so brilliantly on their behalf. I truly enjoyed connecting more deeply with them.
