Volunteer Opportunities
Project Kindy is a Brisbane-based charity that fundraises for kindergartens for children in extreme poverty in rural Malawi, Africa. We raise money for our partners on the ground, the Canossian Daughters of Charity, to empower their kindergarten project in the Machinga District. There are 11 kindergartens with nearly 1000 children and 60 staff.
We are currently looking for wonderful volunteers to fill the positions of:
Each role is for one financial year at a time.
Treasurer (Committee Role)
Project Kindy Village Night Out Event Volunteers (prepare the space, look after contractors, welcome guests)
Project Kindy Village Picnic Volunteers (prepare the space, look after contractors, welcome guests)
Official Members (free to join)
Attend our Annual General Meeting
Run your own fundraiser in your style and inspire others to do the same
Our Volunteers Demonstrate
- Strong leadership, communication and team-work skills
- Strong experience in a variety of online applications
- Excellent attention to detail including well developed written / communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, learn, multitask across different projects and strong time management skills.
- Value charity work, community, respect, dignity, partnerships, intentional living, children, teamwork, lifelong learning, forgiveness and patience.
- Respect for people of faith, however no personal faith essential
